Villa Retreat can arrange any day trip on the island for you being it a dhow trip to the Menai conservation area for snorkling and a beach picnic, exploring Stone Town and the culture and history of Zanzibar, visiting Jozani National park or all the various beaches and places of Zanzibar.

Villa Retreat has a transparent Kajak, Stand Up Paddle Boards and also a motorboat, which can be hired.

You will be welcomed by a local team of well trained staff who are dedicated to make your stay private, discreet, comfortable and unforgettable. If you book Villa Retreat for self catering you are welcomed by Celina who will show you around and assure, that everything is there for your needs. on daily basis, the pool and garden are maintained by Mika, who is also opening the gate for you. If you opt for additional services, Chef Kassim can cook everything you want from fresh fish, over superb vegetarian dishes to grilled Octopus, Calamari Tempura to fabulous Burgers or spaghetti bolognese for the kids – depending which ingredients you give to him. Driver Maulidi with his Minibus can drive you everywhere on the island and knows many hidden corners. If you hire Hassan and Maulidi together you can relax in style at the pool and beach, while they are going shopping according to your wishes and you just need then to enjoy the meals. If wished, Celina will clean the house daily and as a trained massage therapist she can give you wonderful massages to enhance your relaxation further.  So it is upon you to decide how it should be. We also have in addition solar pannels, which will assist for lights, fridges, coffee machines in case of power cuts from the local electricity. we can also agree that you host a party or a special day – if you tell us in advance.
