The Loft
The upper apartment has a separate entrance at the rear and is designed like a 100 m² loft, complemented by a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed—ideal for two children.
The Ocean Place
The lower apartment consists of two large, separate, and independent bedrooms, each with a king-size bed. It accommodates four people and features a 60-square-meter terrace.
The Mainhouse
The entire house is spacious and flooded with light; both the apartments and the house as a whole are designed to allow you to enjoy life right by the sea. It is ideal for two families, a group of friends, or a multi-generational holiday.
Villa Cocoon
Villa Cocoon is located right by the sea—physically separate from the main house but in its immediate vicinity. It accommodates up to four people and is ideal for families with two young children.

Villa Retreat is located in the South West of Zanzibar in Fumba, 25 min from Stone Town or the international airport in a complete private area very close to Safari Blue and with fantastic views of the islands and sandbanks of the Menai Conservation area.
Villa Retreat consists out of a mainhouse with an upper and lower appartment with tropical garden, a huge infinity swimming pool and a deck overlapping the Indian Ocean and a sunrise/sunset raised lounge.
In addition and seperately there is also Villa Cocoon – a smaller house – with independant garden and pool, also directly on the beach.
Both sancutaries have a ramp and staircase leading directly into the crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean for swimming, watersport activities and even for a trip to the Menai Conservation area.
It is possible either to rent only the upper or only the lower appartment or the entire mainhouse. Otherwise you can opt for Villa Cocoon depending on how many people you are and what touches more your heart.
While the mainhouse has the feel of the elegance of Saint Tropez with pool parties, cocktails and embracing the World, Villa Cocoon is more intimate and calm and an ideal place to find peace after busy excursions or visits to Stone Town.
After having stayed in the mainland of Tanzania for over 30 years, we felt it was time to move to a more slow motion of life, connected to the Ocean breeze, its sounds and its nature combined with the possibility to dance to the moves and sounds of Zanzibar and Stone Town and its rich heritage and history and party life from time to time. We found this place – away from the main tourist stream – where all was possible: serenity, privacy, nature, direct Ocean view and access, untouched nature but in close vicinity to all what Zanzibar can offer in addition.
